North Stradbroke Island’s newest waterfront holiday accommodation at Amity Point
AMITY POINT, NORTH STRADBROKE ISLAND, QUEENSLAND: Queensland’s beloved Straddie – one of Queensland’s most popular holiday destinations – now boasts boutique seaside holiday bungalows at Amity Point with the launch of the waterfront Belles on Ballow resort hitting the holiday accommodation, events and wedding destination market this month.
Karen Garrett from Straddie Sales and Rentals, who now manage the holiday rental bookings for Belles on Ballow, expects the resort-style accommodation to become an extremely popular for holiday rentals but also as an accommodation or events destination for larger groups, conferences/events and weddings.
“Straddie is a much-loved holiday destination where waterfront holiday properties are a scarce commodity and Belles on Ballow now offers the perfect island escapism opportunity to book a single bungalow or book out the entire property with multiple families or groups yet have the comfort of being spread out over private quarters,” Karen said.
“At capacity, Belles on Ballow will be able to accommodate between 30 – 35 guests across the various bungalow and holiday home accommodation facilities,” she said.
“Straddie is also a very popular wedding destination yet finding a waterfront location where nuptials and reception can take place plus accommodate large groups of guests all in the one location doesn’t exist so Belles on Ballow will now be able to provide that opportunity.
“There is nothing more special than taking in an Amity sunset, seaside from the Belles on Ballow jetty or Cabana bar perhaps with a sundowner in hand and watching the frolicking resident dolphins just metres away.
